The Space Arts trustees have decided to bring the charity to a close. We choose not to say ‘with heavy hearts’, but instead to celebrate 16 years of incredible creativity in all the arts. We thank all of those involved over the years. So many have been part of this in one way or another. We think Hugo would have been so encouraged to see many people, of all ages, engaging and learning and enjoying.

Linking the Christian faith and the arts are the charity’s core values. In recent years it has proved harder to find people willing to take the lead on major productions, but the charity has continued to support and fund local activities and arts events.

The remaining Space funds have been distributed between four local recipients, respecting the charity’s core values. This way the creative arts will continue to flourish across Horsham and the Space legacy will live on in new ideas and creative engagement.
